We are getting ready for our trip to Chicago land for the weekend. My niece is graduating from high school tonight and she is also turning 19 today she informed me that I HAD to come. We are packing up the kids and bringing them to grandparents and my dh and I are heading out. We would take the kids but there isn't a nursery for Kyleah and the ceremony is at 7:30 tonight!!! Just in time for bed Can you imagine how angry she will be! I could and so could my dh so he called his parents.

embracing life...again
Ok I must admit I love embrace life it has to be my favorite stamp set yet I have several others that I really enjoy but this seems to be the set I pull out the most often. Something else I realized.... I LOVE Blue Bayou!! Ok to make this card I of course used Blue Bayou as my card base and then cut a piece slightly smaller in length of porcelain prints dsp and layered that on river rock card stock I added three brads at the top and adhered it to my card base. Then time to pull out embrace life I stamped that in black and colored in a few of the flowers but to give it a little something more I punched out some blue bayou flowers from the trio punch box but I still felt like the flowers needed a little something else so I had to add some stickles in the middle for some bling!
Now a little something funny about a post I did a few weeks back with a card challenge. My picture was a little blurry and I just didn't know what I had done no matter what I did for lighting my camera kept making the center of the picture blurry.... for those of you with little ones you probably already see where I am heading.... Yep that's right Kyleah had gotten a hold of my camera and smeared up the lens with little dirty finger prints! :)

Cherish
I have been busy this weekend making sure to spend some quality time stamping. I have made several items in the last few days so I will work really hard to post something new for you everyday! I heard about a new magazine called Stamp It If you haven't picked a copy up be sure to it has a ton of amazing ideas in it. This card is cased from a card in the Magazine. They used a different stamp set and had used flowers from the pretties kit but the layout and the colors are the same. A friend called last week and told me she was getting married so I wanted to make a card for them, and when I saw this card I knew that this was the one.
To make the card I used Whisper White Card stock stamped Doodle This and added my Felt flowers with a dimensionals. In the middle of the felt flower I used a rhinestone that I removed from the rhinestone brads. the I cut my river rock card stock and a little piece of whisper white and layered it on top of the card base then I used a strip of whisper white ribbon and dyed it to river rock by running it over the river rock ink pad. I then added the ribbon slider from the hodgepodge kit in the occasions mini catalog stamped cherish from warm words set and layered it on the river rock popped it on with what else but dimensionals.
Thanks for looking have a great Monday!

HumpDay posting
This has absolutely nothing to do with stamping but I thought they were really funny!
CHEESE!! Isn't she cute!!!!
TAKE MY PICTURE! What a handsome Boy
I DON'T WANT MY PICTURE TAKEN.....NO STOP! She really is pretty if she would only show her face.
I have been stamping but I can't show them to you yet. I signed up to do a ATC (Artist Trading Card) Swap. I have never done these I will post a picture when The "hostess" gets them although I told her if they look horrible she can claim they never arrived and file 13 them. hehe
I also have been wallpapering my husbands office with SU! packaging paper. It looks like faux leather how more manly can you get than faux leather?! It looks really cool when the room gets done I will take a picture for you all.
